Managing Trustee Arun C. Shah<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/gjnrf.org\/about-us\/#board\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hon. Treasurer Rajesh C. Shah<\/a> at the hands of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/rosanna-cavalletto-42531227\/?locale=en_US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr. Rosanna Cavalletto Perdomo<\/a>, Sustainable Dentist\/Author, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sijam-mc.com\/ar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sijam Clinic<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/helle-lund-a2aa1483\/?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Egoogle%2Ecom%2F&amp;originalSubdomain=in\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Helle Lund<\/a>, National Head &#8211; CSR, Partnership &amp; Project Development &amp; Training, <a href=\"https:\/\/humana-india.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Humana People to People India<\/a> and other dignitaries at an award ceremony held at Bandra in Mumbai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The awards recognise organisations that can \u201cmake a difference to the lives of others\u2026 (Through) the quality of their work, rural reach and outlook and ability to contribute value to social change\u201d. The selection is based primarily on an organization\u2019s ability to Make a Difference, while the breadth and depth of the impact is also considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The organisers state that the winners are selected through a two-stage process. Firstly an \u201cintensely researched process is undertaken by the research cell which consists of Post Graduates in History &amp; Management with over 5 years research experience posts their studies\u201d and a short list is drawn up. Subsequently, the list is reviewed by a Jury comprising of senior professionals from across the globe, and the winners are finalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award is an acknowledgement of the extensive work <a href=\"https:\/\/gjnrf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GJNRF<\/a> has undertaken over the years for relief and rehabilitation of underprivileged and crisis-hit communities and its ethical approach to such philanthropical work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Receiving the award on behalf of <a href=\"https:\/\/gjnrf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GJNRF<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/gjnrf.org\/about-us\/#board\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Arun Shah<\/a> said, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/gjnrf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GJNRF<\/a> has been a collective effort of the industry backed by Indian and international trade bodies, individual companies from the sector and other foundations established by industry players. Its successful social interventions have been made possible by the efforts of past Chairmen and the members of the Board over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gjnrf.org\/about-us\/#board\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rajesh Shah<\/a> added, \u201cSuch awards are a recognition of the far-reaching impact <a href=\"https:\/\/gjnrf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GJNRF<\/a> has had on the lives of many millions all across the country. <a href=\"https:\/\/gjnrf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GJNRF<\/a> has carried out mega campaigns of support during times of national crises such as the Orissa Mega Cyclone, Kutch Earthquake, Tsunami, Floods and Droughts in different states over the years and again during the Covid-19 pandemic.
