Seminars on innovation and development will explore the use of AI and other digital technology applications in the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hktdc.com\/event\/hkdgp\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">10th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show<\/a> launched for a five-day (27 February \u2013 2 March) run at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asiaworld-expo.com\/en-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AsiaWorld-Expo<\/a>, showcasing world-class raw materials for jewellers. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hktdc.com\/event\/hkdgp\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">10th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show<\/a>, organised by the <a href=\"https:\/\/home.hktdc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC)<\/a>, opened and showcasing a wide range of diamonds, gemstones and pearls \u2013 raw materials for jewellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the opening ceremony this afternoon, Dr Bernard Chan, Hong Kong SAR Acting Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, was the Guest of Honour. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hktdc.com\/event\/hkjewellery\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">40th Hong Kong International Jewellery Show<\/a>, dedicated to finished jewellery, will be held at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hkcec.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre<\/a> from Thursday onwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aboutus.hktdc.com\/the-management\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sophia Chong, Deputy Executive Director of the HKTDC<\/a>, said: \u201cThis is the first time since the pandemic that the \u2018two shows, two venues\u2019 format has been reinstated. The two fairs have attracted over 4,000 exhibitors from 44 countries and regions, forming the world\u2019s leading jewellery trade platform. More than 60% of the exhibitors came from outside Hong Kong, which signifies the high international profile of the two fairs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/winston-chow-49018713\/?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Egoogle%2Ecom%2F&amp;originalSubdomain=hk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Winston Chow, Chairman-HKTDC<\/a>\u2019s Jewellery Advisory Committee, said: \u201cWe are delighted that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hktdc.com\/event\/hkdgp\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem &amp; Pearl Show<\/a> is returning to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asiaworld-expo.com\/en-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AsiaWorld-Expo<\/a> for its 10th edition this year.
