SIM aims to provide the youth in India with access to future-ready, industry-ready skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the SIM, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msde.gov.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE)<\/a> provides skill, re-skill, and up-skill training to youth across the country, including Uttar Pradesh, through a comprehensive network of skill development centers\/institutes supported by various schemes such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pmkvyofficial.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/jss.gov.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jan Sikhshan Sansthan (JSS)<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msde.gov.in\/en\/schemes-initiatives\/apprenticeship-training\/naps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS)<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/dgt.gov.in\/CTS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Placement possibilities have been provided to STT certified candidates under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pmkvyofficial.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PMKVY<\/a>, and because Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) entails the process of certifying already existent abilities, it is unrelated to placements.
