The event witnessed participation from 85 retail jewellers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing the gathering, Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director \u2013 National Events, <a href=\"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GJEPC<\/a>, provided insights into the Council\u2019s major initiatives, industry support mechanisms, and trade facilitation programmes aimed at strengthening the gem and jewellery sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deepa Rajendran, Coordinator \u2013 Kerala, <a href=\"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GJEPC<\/a>, presented an overview of <a href=\"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/iijs-premiere\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026<\/a>, scheduled to take place at JWCC, BKC from 5th to 9th August 2026 and at BEC, Goregaon from 6th to 10th August 2026. She also explained the advantages of the Advance Visitor Registration (AVR) packages and assisted attendees with the registration process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Murali Ayyar, Category Head \u2013 Retail Trade, De Beers India, introduced the INDRA initiative, highlighting its value and growth potential for jewellery retailers and the wider industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme generated significant interest, resulting in 50 spot AVR registrations, reflecting the eagerness of Thrissur\u2019s jewellery retailers to attend the upcoming edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/gjepc.org\/iijs-premiere\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IIJS Bharat Premiere<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the notable outcomes of the event was JMA\u2019s proposal to host a Parichay Card Camp at its premises, with the association committing participation from approximately 500\u2013700 members and workers.
