The initiative was announced on 15 April 2026 during Italy\u2019s Made in Italy Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The academy will function as a decentralised learning network, centred at the Valore Italia campus in Milan\u2019s MIND innovation district. It aims to blend traditional luxury craftsmanship with modern expertise such as artificial intelligence and innovative materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Training programmes will cover four key sectors\u2014ready-to-wear, menswear tailoring, leather goods, and jewellery\u2014highlighting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kering.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kering<\/a>\u2019s holistic approach to craftsmanship across its businesses. Courses will range from short-term modules to multi-year diploma programmes officially recognised under Italian law, with the first batch of students set to begin in September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Initially, the academy plans to train up to 1,000 students each year, with the potential to double enrolment over time.
