The Jewelry Symposium<\/a> has outlined plans for its 2026 edition with a stronger emphasis on talent development, digital engagement, and industry collaboration. Announcing the opening of registrations, the symposium also revealed a second workforce-focused roundtable and the launch of a dedicated mobile app. The event is scheduled to take place in Detroit from 16\u201319 May 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening session, titled Rebuilding the Workforce<\/em>, will be co-sponsored by MSJA and Jewelers of America. Chairman Linus Drogs noted that the discussion builds on last year\u2019s agreement that the industry must rethink its approach to attracting, training, and retaining talent. The roundtable will bring together global professionals to share effective recruitment and retention practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
