Concurrently, Eirik Waerness, Senior Vice President and Chief Economist, will take on expanded duties as Acting Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs &amp; Strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Greeff, who joined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.debeersgroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">De Beers<\/a> in 1993, has been instrumental in advancing the company\u2019s technical innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainability agenda.
