Ltd. (GIA India)<\/a> has announced the appointment of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/linkedin.com\/in\/amit-pratihari-b1288712?originalSubdomain=in\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amit Pratihari<\/a><\/strong> as Managing Director. In his new role, he will oversee all operations of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.giaindia.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GIA India<\/a>\u2019s gemmological laboratories in <strong>Mumbai and Surat<\/strong>, as well as the <strong>GIA India School<\/strong> in Mumbai. Pratihari officially took charge on <strong>October 1<\/strong>, reporting directly to the GIA India Board of Directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAmit\u2019s extensive background in retail and brand management, combined with over a decade of experience in the diamond industry, positions him perfectly to further strengthen the role and reputation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.giaindia.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GIA India<\/a>\u2019s laboratories,\u201d said <strong>Sriram Natarajan<\/strong>, Director on the GIA India Board and Senior Vice President of Laboratory Operations for GIA, Inc. \u201cHis strategic vision and leadership are particularly valuable as India continues to play a central role in the global diamond trade and grows as a major consumer market.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expressing his enthusiasm, <strong>Pratihari<\/strong> said, \u201cIt\u2019s a true honour to be part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.giaindia.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GIA India<\/a>.
