While the lion and comet have long been central to Chanel<\/a>\u2019s aesthetic\u2014symbols personally cherished by Gabrielle Chanel for their protective and wish-fulfilling qualities\u2014it\u2019s the introduction of the wing motif that marks a fresh chapter.
