The rebrand was finalized after receiving regulatory authorization from the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission, and it was approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on May 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the short name &#8220;Valterra&#8221; and ISIN ZAE000013181, Valterra Platinum is now traded on the JSE under the share code &#8220;VAL.&#8221; May 27 was the last day of trading under the Anglo American Platinum moniker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While account modifications reflecting the new name will be finished by June 2nd, the record deadline for stockholders is May 30th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the firm seeks to capitalize on its tradition with a refreshed brand identity, the JSE launch under the Valterra name represents both continuity and a daring repositioning in the market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On May 28, 2025, Anglo American Platinum Limited formally changed its name to Valterra Platinum Limited, and it began trading on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) under the new name.
