Angolan Minister of Mineral Resources, Petroleum, and Gas Diamantino Azevedo and Botswana Minister of Minerals and Energy Bogolo Kenewendo are among the distinguished speakers at the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB)<\/a> Presidents\u2019 Meeting, which will take place in New York from June 10\u201311 and be chaired by President Duma Boko of Botswana and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Diamond Dealers Club of New York, under the direction of President Elliot Krisched, will host the meeting, which is devoted to “Tariffs and Supporting Natural Diamonds.” De Beers EVP Paul Rowley, Kimberley Process Chairman Ahmed Bin Sulayem, WDC President Feriel Zerouki, JA President David Bonaparte, JVC President Sara Yood, CIBJO President Gaetano Cavalieri, IDMA President Ronnie Vanderlinden, IGI’s Tiffany Stevens, and GIA’s Tom Moses are among the prominent diamond industry leaders who will also speak at the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The annual Presidents’ Meeting, which brings together key stakeholders from across the diamond pipeline and senior representatives of the 27 member bourses, is a significant international event. Through expert panels and debates, the most important problems confronting the global diamond business will be examined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The diamond industry is currently dealing with a number of difficulties, according to WFDB President Yoram Dvash<\/a>. We are bringing together the leading industry players and decision-makers to exchange ideas and create future industry policies.
