Industry luminary Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman of the Aditya Birla Group<\/a>, attended the IIJS Signature exhibition on January 6, 2025. During his visit, Mr. Birla<\/a> was informed by Mr. Nirav Bhansali, Convener of National Exhibitions, GJEPC<\/a>, and Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC<\/a>, on the Council’s core objectives and activities aimed at encouraging growth and development in the Indian jewellery sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Birla<\/a> was informed of the GJEPC<\/a>‘s multifaceted efforts, which include organizing international exhibitions, establishing incubation centres such as IJEX Dubai, implementing worker insurance schemes such as Swasthya Ratna, and developing common facility centres, including the flagship Bharat Ratnam Mega CFC, with cutting-edge equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Birla<\/a> praised GJEPC<\/a>‘s efforts to help the growth and development of the Indian gem and jewellery business.
