Jos Alukkas<\/a> has donated four Mahindra electric vehicles worth \u20b960 lakhs to the Coimbatore City Police as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project. The official transfer ceremony was held at the Coimbatore City Police Commissioner’s office and was attended by City Police Commissioner V. Balakrishnan, IPS, Deputy Commissioners<\/a>, and Jos Alukkas<\/a>‘ Managing Directors, Paul J Alukkas and John Alukkas<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The environmentally friendly vehicles will help to increase patrols operations in Coimbatore while also contributing to the city’s goal of lowering carbon emissions. Two cars will be used for traffic patrol in the eastern and western areas, with the remaining two being used for crime control operations, marking a significant step forward in Tamil Nadu’s use of electric vehicles for law enforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked about the program, Paul J Alukkas<\/a> stated, “We are proud to support the Coimbatore City Police in their efforts to create a safer and greener city.” This investment demonstrates our commitment to meaningful community development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John Alukkas<\/a> continued, “At Jos Alukkas<\/a>, we believe in taking proactive efforts toward sustainability. Empowering the police with electric cars is a step toward a cleaner, more future-ready Coimbatore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
